Enjoying our Summer

Our Baseball season is almost finished, Brayden has two more games on Mon and Wed. Grandma and Grandpa were able to make it over to some of the games and the kids loved to have them their to watch.
Brayden batting, he hit this one!! He is having so much fun playing and has lots of his school friends on this team. He is also having fun actually learning more about the game and gets a little bummed when he gets out on base or strikes out. We are still working on being on base after the ball is hit so he can get someone out. Overall he has had a fun season!
Aunt Chelsie and Dillon made it to a few games too!! Dillon was so good he just loved being outside!! Thanks for coming!
Ashlyn finished her T-ball season on Thursday so we took some team pictures that day. She really had fun once she got over her fear of the coaches. She loved to chase the ball all over the field even if the ball was on the other side. She would race the other kids to get to the ball first.  As for me I am kinda glad the season is winding down, going to baseball on Mon & Wed and T-ball Tues & Thurs of the week and swim lessons for the first two weeks of the month was fun but a little tiring.
We also took the kids on our Anniversary dinner to Texas Roadhouse. They had so much fun because it happened to be kids night at the restaurant and they got balloons made into anything they wanted. Ashlyn got a flower with a bear hanging on it and Brayden got a pirates hat and sword. They also got free sundaes. YUM! They even shared with me.
The kids have also been having so much fun in the swimming pool we got for them to practice in.They are supposed to be practicing all the techniques they learned at lessons without life jackets but they love wearing them and of course love just playing around especially if they get the chance to dunk their Dad. They were having a hard time waiting for the weather to warm up enough so they could swim but now that the weather is warm enough the pool is still really cold, but they don't seem to care too much.
Ashlyn was practicing her dunking or bobs.
Brayden doing his bobs with Dans help. He couldn't go all the way under with his jacket. Or better yet he wasn't trying to hard to go under with his jacket on so dad helped.
These are some of the flowers we planted this year. I love the dark purple!
I also loved the color of these roses. They are so pretty!
