I don't know if carving pumpkins is really all that fun but the kids liked it. Dan got the fun job of gutting the pumpkins & the kids didn't want anything to do with that part. Ash wanted a vampire pumpkin which Dad helped her do and Brayden wanted the scary ghost which I helped him do. As for our usual painted pumpkins we do every year, well that didn't happen, we only got two very small pumpkins from our garden and honestly I didn't have time this year.
Today 2nd grade had costume day and Brayden went with his hair all crazy and sprayed blue and white to match his shirt and then put on his costume at school for the party.
Ashlyn went with Cindy Lou Who hair for her Crazy hair day. She was so excited and loved it until a couple kids on the bus made fun of her hair. They told her her hair looked like it had bird nests in it. Dang kids!! But Dan told her how cute it was when we walked in the house so that made it better. She got a ton of compliments from teachers at school too.
