Schools out for Summer!!

School is out and we are still very busy :) Ashlyn had an awards assembly on Thursday and she got an award for most improved reader, her teacher chose her and a boy from their class. She really has done well with reading this year!! Nice Job Ash!!!

We also had soccer games on Wednesday night in Firth, and boy was it cold, windy and wet!! Grandma Swanson was able to come watch, of course it was the worst day this year for soccer. Both of the kids did great and we were all soaked (except Bridger) by the time we got home.

During Braydens game it really started to rain, so at the very end Ash, Grandma and Bridger headed to the car, we didn't want Bridger to get wet!

Thursday night Brayden had a Baseball game, they played really well! This is the team that stomped them the very first game and I don't think they wanted to really play them again, but they were winning the entire time until the end. Brayden did well, he made a 3-4 runs and even stole a few bases, slid into third, got hit in the face catching a ball; then to top it off, at the very end he was batting, he swung and the ball hit his hand instead of the bat, it didn't go too far for that reason and his hand was really hurting so he didn't make it to first and got out. He felt bad because this ended the game and his hand was numb for 20 minutes or so. I really hate to see my kids in pain. Then later today he fell in the shower bruising his ribs and hip, he has had a rough couple of days : (

Bridger is 4 months old! Crazy how fast these months have flown by!! He is such a fun, happy chubby baby! He is already rolling over, sitting up (even if he is slouched over) and eating cereal and fruits and veggies (which he really likes). He had his 4 month check-up on Monday and is growing like a weed. He now weighs in at 17 lbs 3 oz and is 24 1/2 inches long. He is in the 75% for all of his measurements. He is my cute chubby baby! (FYI he weighs 3 lbs and is 1 inch longer than Brayden and Ash at this age). I got a few pictures of him being his cute self a few days ago. He has some pretty blue eyes.

I love his chubby legs in the picture below, they make me laugh!! He is also always sticking his hands in his mouth, I have to push his hands down all the time to get a picture. Yet he won't take a bink or a bottle but anything else is fine.
