Grandpa and Grandma Jones

We lost two wonderful, amazing Grandparents this last week. Grandpa Bud left this earth just 6 short days before his lovely wife Grandma Norma. We think Grandpa needed to go first so he could guide Grandma home. These two will be greatly missed but we know they are both in a better place. These are Dans Grandparents but I also think of them as mine. I've known them both for around 19 years, they always came to watch Dan and I play sports and whatever else we did to cheer us on.

Grandpa Bud sometimes came across as a cranky guy but we all new better, he had a heart of gold and was willing to do anything for anyone. I will miss his hugs! Grandma always had a kind heart, she was always thinking of others, we loved her cooking and the things she made for the great-grandkids. This isn't enough to truly describe these two but it will have to do for now.
We held a Graveside service for Grandpa on Sunday evening the 26th with close family and friends. It rained the entire time we were there. We think Grandpa had a hand in this considering he doesn't like funerals. Don't mind the rain drops on some of the pictures :)

Kim Getsinger (Angela's other brother from another mother :) ) came and played a beautiful Bagpipe song for both funerals. He is amazing!

All the family that wanted to put flowers on his casket, it was very sweet!

We then had a memorial service on Tuesday the 28th for Grandpa at the funeral home.

Tony did an amazing job with the life sketch.
Grandma Norma's viewing was on Friday the 31st and her funeral was on Saturday Sept. 1st. Her flowers were so beautiful.

Dan with his Mom and sister Christina. Doesn't he look nice in his suit. It only took him 15 years to get one. I have bugged him for years to get one and he finally did :)
Cortlynn and Ash were great babysitters! Bridger was so tired but he was still so good! His little Jordan shoes are cute too. I think Brayden wore them when he was a little older though.
We had a wonderful dinner at the Golden West prepared by some wonderful ladies. This was Grandpas favorite place to eat. These are a few pictures I took while there.
These two always have a fun time together!

Brayden sporting Grandpa Buds hat, snake skin boots and cap gun that he got. They were all running around playing cowboys.
Bridger even got to wear the had Dan got for a while at home. Isn't he so stinking cute!
